Wow! I live eight miles from Stonehenge and of course the local shops are full of pictures etc for the tourists. But this is a shot not for the tourist but for the people who live in this area. I love it! :love:

Yes I think so!!! We have so much heritage around us here it's amazing. Unfortunately for the average tourist I think they really don't get to "see" this. The archaeologists are transforming our knowledge of Stonehenge by using new techniques and I find it awe inspiring how complex the landscape would have been. Okay, we can't photograph those times gone by; but, I think, with insight we can capture (as you have done) something of the magic of what is now!
